Thanks to Jodi Reitz for helping us identify folks in this picture. At left is her grandfather, James Lawrence (Bud) Grant, a long-time farmer near Whitney. At right is Bob Connell, whose family farmed in the area for many years. Bob and his wife, Ruth Ann, also owned and operated a service station in Whitney.
