Chadron (Nebr) High School Class of 1962 - 50th Reunion July 2012

Have fun trying to guess who's who in this 1956 photo of the East Ward 6th Grade. Many of these good folks went on to graduate from Chadron High School in 1962. Click on the photo to select a larger image. Karen Kindig (third from left in front row) seems to be thinking, "I wonder what these guys will look like in 50 years?" The answer -- for at least some of those classmates -- can be found amongst these photos!

The first gathering of classmembers, spouses, and significant others (plus a few "visitors" from other classes and schools) took place at the American Legion Club on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, after a rather minimal appearance in the Fur Trade Days parade, the class enjoyed a reunion supper at the West Hills Inn next door to the Country Kitchen.

"This is really just beyond words, isn't it?" they seem to be thinking. Darlene (Brewster) Davis communes with Sharon Ann (Berlie) Cripps, a 1963 CHS grad.

"Them what wants to eat gotta come early!" Richard S. Murdock knows that value of positioning when it comes to chow. Your humble editor considered Rich to be among the "least changed in appearance," except, of course, for fewer hairs on top the head. The unintended consequence of that: He's not as gray as many folks.
