Super Snow Moon - February 19, 2019

The moon is said to be 221,734 miles above the earth, so last night (2/18/19), as cloudless Nebraskans were peering at the so-called "Super Snow Moon," we were doing the same thing in Arizona. With no tripod in tow, I decided nonetheless to brace my trusty Canon SLR again my brother-in-law's pickup to capture this event. I was surprised the image turned out as well as it did, although the lunar surface still looks to me like a well-shaped piece of pepper-jack cheese.
